Snow walking!
Every year more and more people are snow-walking.
This is not a surprise, because for snow-walking you
don't need any specific technic and you can come on
places where you cannot ski. On this snow walks you use
special snowshoes, here in France called
"raquettes".
Of course there is a difference in the difficulty of the
various walks that can be made. This depends on the
surrounding where the walk takes place. If you stay in the
neighborhood of the village or you go into the high mountains.
If you want to walk in the high mountains you always will
need a guide who knows the area you want to walk very well.
In the winter the guides from the village weekly organize
walks, walks for everybody, but also walks for the more experienced
ones in the high mountains.
