Off-piste / Skitouring!
Every day all the "Bureau des
Guides" of the different ski-areas in the neighborhood of
the Gîte organize tours on ski. Beside day tours they
organize tours for more than one day where you will sleep in
a mountain hut.
The tours only take place when the weather and snow
conditions are good. Also the number of participants is
important. If there are not enough participants the tour will
not take place.
These ski tours are only suitable for very
experienced skiërs.
For beginners there is of course the possibility to take
lessons "off-piste", tourskiing, telemarken etc.
Every year we organize weeks with every day a different
ski-event, such as off-piste skiing, snowwalking, skitours
and the descent from the Aiguille du Midi.

One of the tours in the program is the descent from
the Aiguille du Midi (3842m) all through the de Vallée
Blanche.
A descent of 20km with a difference in height of
2800 meters.
