Cross Country!
There are lots of areas near the Gîte for Cross Country skiing.
At Plaine Joux, the ski-area near the Gîte there are loipes for
beginners, about 8 km.
In the ski-area of St-Gervais/Megève
at about half an hour from the Gîte the length of the loipes for cross
country are 141 km, in the various ski-areas that form the ski-area of
St-Gervais/Megève. For some of the loipes you have to buy a ticket.
The ski-areas of Chamonix have a total of 39 km of loipes of various difficulties.
Here also you have to buy a ticket. The loipes are between Chamonix and the
Argentière-glacier.
